Where do I go to open an additional account?

Log into your online banking and click on the “Account Services” category from the main menu. From there, you can select the type of account you wish to open.

Please note new and existing clients must open TFSA and RRSP accounts through our website applications.


I'm moving outside of Canada, can I continue to open new accounts with Motive?
No, once you've moved outside of Canada you cannot add a new Motive accounts or investments. Please contact us at 1-877-441-2249 if you are a Motive customer moving outside of Canada.

How do I add a joint holder to my account?
Complete and submit an "Add a Joint Account Holder" form which you can download from our Forms Centre.

Registered Accounts

How do I open a Motive TFSA or RRSP account?
Both new and existing clients can open TFSA and RRSP accounts through our website.
